Photovoltaic facade equips Rhiienergie’s new headquarters
The energy supplier Rhiinergie has just set up its new headquarters at the entrance to the village of Tamins, Switzerland. This sustainable and user-focused building is equipped with two photovoltaic systems on the roof and facade.
The vertical and screen-printed pattern on the modules was designed together with architect Bruno Krucher. These clear, highly zoomed pencil strokes, in addition to almost completely hiding the photovoltaic cells, give rhythm to this wood-frame façade.
Facing south, the custom-made modules produce electricity which is entirely consumed on site.
To find out more about the history of the creation of this building, you can read the dedicated article in the Swiss magazine Hochparterre (article only in French).
